Viagra and Cialis
PLEASE READ MY DISCLAIMER FIRST!!!
Please note: Neither Cialis nor Viagra will increase your libido or “make you hard”. In other words they do NOT turn you into a “sex monster” that wants to have sex all the time and is hard all the time. Cialis/Viagra works by enhancing the effects of one of the chemicals the body normally releases into the penis during sexual arousal. This allows an increase of blood flow into the penis. An erection is the result of an increase in blood flow into certain internal areas of the penis. So in layman terms Cialis/Viagra makes it easier to get hard (once you are in the mood) and it makes it easier to stay hard.
I have tried both Viagra and Cialis. I prefer Cialis over Viagra for the following reasons:
Cialis lasts 36-72 hours, Viagra lasts 2-3 hours. So with Cialis you do not have to be in a rush to have sex (and you can have sex for multiple days in a row)
Cialis takes about 1-2 hours to get fully effective, Viagra 30-60 minutes. Because Cialis takes a little longer to be effective it comes on more slowly than Viagra which when it kicks in to me feels like someone just “punched” me.
Cialis can also be taken on a DAILY basis: 2.5mg or 5 mg per day. This has TWO distinct advantages: one is that you are always ready to have sex (if you and your partner(s) are in the mood). And the second reason is that taking Cialis daily (for me at least) lowers the side effects of taking a bigger dose just before it is time for sex. Also psychologically it makes me feel more “virile” as in not having to take a pill just before having sex (because I took my daily pill that morning with my other vitamins and supplements). Daily Cialis also takes away the “need to have sex soon since I just took an expensive pill”.
Now how do you go about to get Cialis (or Viagra if that is your choice)? The only safe way to get the real deal (and not some internet scam) is to either ask your doctor for a prescription or use one of the online pharmacies that include the service of getting a (typically free) online doctor “visit”.
Online pharmacy
The online pharmacy I have used is https://www.getroman.com Steps are:
have a free online “visit” with one of their doctors. This is basically a bunch of texts going back and forth on the web (so NOT using your phone).
create an account and start your subscription
after you get your first supply I changed my subscription to “on-demand” so I can decide when to ask for the next set of pills.
Another online pharmacy which I have heard about is https://www.forhims.com which seems to work in the same way as getroman. However I have not used this one!
Regular prescription
If you decide to get the medication via your regular doctor then you can either fulfill the prescription using your normal pharmacy (which typically charges a lot of money and isn’t covered in your health plan) or you can use another type of online pharmacy (that doesn’t include doctor “visits”) that has really cheap generic Cialis (or Viagra).
One of them is called Honeybee. Honeybee can also be used for any type of (generic) medication that might be a lot cheaper than your regular pharmacy. You start with creating an account at Honeybee, look for Cialis/Viagra and then the website will prompt you for your doctor’s info so they can get the prescription from them.
Amazon pharmacy works the same way as Honeybee. You create an Amazon pharmacy account (different an separate from your regular Amazon account if you have one (for privacy reasons), find the Viagra/Cialis you want to order, and then Amazon will contact your regular doctor for your prescription. The Amazon pharmacy prices are the lowest I have found so far.
FAQ:
Cialis lasts for 36-72 hours, does that mean I will have an erection for that long? NO, you still have to get aroused first. Cialis just helps with making it easier to get hard and staying hard. Remember when you were 18? It is like that!
How much Cialis should I take? Well that is up to the doctor. I prefer to get the 5mg tablets so I can decide whether I need 5, 10, 15, or 20 mg (the max). I suggest you try 5mg (if doctor approved) and see if that is enough. Then you can increase the dosage up to the level that is doctor approved if you need more “effect”. Or try the daily Cialis approach as described above.
Won’t the doctor react strangely when I ask for this? NO! They will just check your health to make sure there aren’t any other complications. Remember they get this type of request ALL the time. I remember asking my female doctor for my first ED prescription and she didn’t blink an eye (of course).
